  • When wine is aged in fine oak barrels, a portion of it evaporates - winemakers call this the ‘Angel’s Share’. It was with this sentiment that the Koonara angel was born.  ‘Angels Peak’ is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the lack of ‘peaks’ in the very flat Coonawarra. The grapes in this wine are deliberately cultivated to be about the size of a pea, focusing on the density of flavour and deep, rich colour. This makes each grape a concentrated powerhouse, contributing to the wine's unique character.

    We are committed to reducing our impact on the planet. Our bottles are carbon neutral for delivery, we have reduced our glass bottle weight by 45g*, and we are certified B Corp.
